“We are talking to the feeder operators in particular. When you see what is going on in Felixstowe and Southampton, perhaps the deepsea lines will have to look at alternatives and call at European ports where there is no congestion, and then feeder to Britain from there,” said Jean-Jacques Moyson, sales director of PSA-HNN.

PSA has a 60% share in the £30m shortsea container terminal, which represents its first operational step into the UK.
