Records for Port of Cork
Turnover at the Irelands Port of Cork has reached a record ¢ 24.9m ($38.6m) boosted by landmark throughput figures.
Traffic reached over 10m tonnes for the third year in a row and achieved the highest annual throughput in the history of the port.
Oil throughput rose by 3%, and containers rose by 8% to 200,000 TEU, another record for the port.
