Sea motorway services to connect Spain and Italy
The Transport Ministers of Italy and Spain have signed an agreement to develop sea motorway services between the two countries.
A joint committee will be established to select from various proposals to provide maritime links following an international tender. In all, 11 routes are under discussion.
The aim is to transfer 400,000 road vehicles to sea over the next two years.
