Smaller box terminal at Savona
The proposed Vago Ligure container terminal at the port of Savona being promoted by APM Terminals is to be re-sized. The blow to APM comes after the proposal was referred by local authorities to Italys Environment Ministry.
The new terminal will be 210,000 sq m and cost ¢450m ($669.1m) to build, of which ¢150m ($100.9m) will be sourced from the private sector.
