SOGET taps fast growing PCS market
French port operations solutions company, SOGET, recently announced its plans to strengthen its international growth strategy to become the point of reference for Single Window by 2015.
Following its first success with the recent implementation of the largest Port Community System in the world in Indonesia – a milestone in the expansion of the company’s field of activities – SOGET is now moving towards developments in South America, Central America, Middle East and Africa.
Jacques Ritt, CEO, SOGET, said: “SOGET’s ambition is threefold: to strengthen its partnership with Le Havre and all ports of the Seine Axis; to complete its expansion and its service offering to a growing number of customers in French ports and promote the development of port communities on the five continents and to successfully double in size within three years.”
Pascal Ollivier, director of corporate development, SOGET, told Port Strategy: “Growth in term of revenue and human resources is directly the consequence to our development on the international market.”
He added: “This growth is also directly linked to port communities through the implementation of SOGET PCS in port communities of the five continents beyond existing ones. PCS market is a fast-growing market around the world.”
SOGET hopes to develop a dynamic growth strategy in every market, expanding its activities to port authorities, seaports, shipping companies, terminal operators, importers, exporters and freight forwarders.
