Spanish and Portuguese ports worst EU performers

In Barcelona, the two container terminals have had to cut prices to retain traffic. ZIM has already removed the majority of its transhipment traffic from TCB to its own terminal in Tarragona, which is managed by DP world.

In compensation, TCB persuaded Maersk to move 120,000 teu from rival Tercat to its own facilities. However, Evergreen had earlier moved 130,000 teu of traffic from TCB to Tercat.
