The Port of Zeebrugge saw volumes very slightly down last year, but still above 42m tonnes. However, this year the port authority expects some ups and downs, says a spokeswoman.

“We also have very competitive handling rates because we have high productivity. In December to January, our gross crane productivity was 35.4 moves per hour – and we even had vessels where we achieved more than 40 moves an hour.”
