Cristina Murphy

Cristina started at OMA with the CCTV-TVCC in Beijing, worked at R. Koolhaas private house in La Maddalena, Italy and as project manager in the Sant’Elia re-qualification, Italy. She collaborated at the Waist down Prada exhibition in Shanghai, at the Casa da Musica in Porto, Portugal and at the Domus Post-Occupancy Issue. She collaborated on the Mercati Generali in Rome, Qatar Education City in Doha, Stock Exchange tower in Shenzhen. In 2009 Cristina co-founds XCOOP, a think tank that through its flexible and permeable approach, analyzes contemporary living and provides creative solutions within a wide range of disciplines. She has been guest professor at the University of UCA El Salvador, UniCA, Italy, TUDelft and MIARD in the Netherlands, thesis Mentor at Politecnico of Milan. In the USA, she taught at Taliesin, UNLincoln and UoA in Tucson. She obtained a B.Arch. at SUNY Buffalo and her M. Arch. at Columbia University. Presently, she is Tenure-Track at MSU Baltimore
