Doha port costs spiral 20%

The cost of building the new Doha port in Qatar is predicted to rise by 20% to around $6.86bn.

This is due to the rising costs of some construction materials and supplies.

Development will take place in three phases and involve construction of an 8.5km bridge to the mainland.
