Doha to have Dutch design

The new Doha Port in Qatar is to be designed through a partnership between WorleyParsons Qatar WLL and Royal Haskoning, which will develop the ports master plan and full engineering design.

The $33m project will include container terminals, a grain terminal, a general cargo terminal, facilities for the Coast Guard and the Emiri Yaught, and a separate port for the Qatari Navy.

Part of the Qatar National Vision 2030, it will cover 20 km² of currently unused land.
