Investment plan in Saudi
Saudi Seaports Authority is to implement a $143m capacity enhancement programme. The main focus of attention will be at Jeddah Islamic Port, where money will be spent on boosting productivity.
Three new berths will be built at the Northern Container Terminal.
Currently, shipping lines due to call at the port are missing it out on their schedule because of the high degree of congestion.
