This latest order brings the number of global installations of Reefer Runner to 50 and, today, the solution continuously monitors more than 44,000 reefer plugs, ensuring a continual supply of energy to refrigerated containers to guard against spoilage.

Identec Solution’s system is independent of reefer type, delivering data remotely and enabling energy monitoring without an additional power meter.

Reefer Runner connects with the terminal operating system through a built-in interface, supplying remotely refrigerated container data such as temperature, humidity and power consumption.

Its benefits are said to include improved speed and quality of processes, and prevention of human error. Most importantly, remote monitoring gives terminal reefer technicians more time to focus on important technical aspects of their work.
