Chile sets out future agenda
Chiles government is to invest in maritime infrastructure to improve connectivity in the countrys far south.
The scheme in total is costed at $300m an involves both port infrastructure and ferry services among others. Ports which look set to receive new investments are Quellón, Puerto Chacabuco, Puerto Éden and Isla Ambarino who will each operate under 15-year concessions as well as Puerto Ibáñez-Chile Chico and Yungay-Río Bravo.
