LA PLATA FARMED OUT
La Plata may well be offered as a single 30-year concession to a prospective management company. The facility, located 75km south east of Buenos Aires, currently has annual traffic of 6m tons but needs investment of $25m in services and equipment provision as well as $15m in upgraded infrastructure.

Phase one involves dredging work costing $13.7m and is already underway, while $8.5m is being spent on repairing the breakwater.
