Puget Sound ports go cleaner
The Puget Sounds air quality has just got another boost. The Ports of Seattle, Tacoma and PSCAA put in match funding to complement an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), grant of over $300,000.
This is earmarked for a replacement and retrofit program that will change equipment to ultra-low sulphur
The grant comes on top of $850,000 from the US a new initiative that combines environmental stewardship efforts.
