RTG order for Cartagena

The Colombian port of Cartagena says it has placed an order for eight RTGs costing $10.4m, as part of a $300m upgrade programme which will last three years and boost capacity to 1.2m teu.

Throughput guarantees are included in the concession, which states that 12,000 teu must be handled in the first year, 34,600 teu in the fifth and 58,400 teu in the final year of the concession.
