Auckland bucks downtrend to issue staff bonuses
Ports of Auckland has issued performance bonuses toover 200 staff for achieving key productivity targets during the month ofJanuary.
Since the staff bonus programme was introduced at the port in May 2008 crane rates have increased 6.5% and staff hours per container have decreased 11.3%.
Employees are eligible for cash payments based on a percentage of their earnings if monthly targets are met.
