The US$80 million project, located within the Suez Canal Economic Zone, aims to enhance Egypt’s logistics infrastructure and strengthen the country’s position as a key regional trade hub.

“The facility will support a wide range of cargo across imports, exports, and transit, and will be integrated with DP World’s operations at Sokhna Port, offering a full range of multi-modal supply chain services, including freight forwarding and logistics solutions,” explained Ranjit Ray, Senior vice president, Economic Zones, MENA region, DP World.

Spanning 300,000 square metres, the new logistics facility is scheduled for completion in June 2025.

Strategically located 10 kilometres from Sokhna Port, the facility offers direct access to key markets in Greater Cairo and major industrial zones, helping businesses streamline cargo movements and reduce operational costs.

The park will support various industries including agriculture, pharmaceuticals, retail, automotive and textiles.

It will feature bonded and non-bonded warehouses, office spaces and open cargo yards, offering services such as warehousing, customs clearing, freight forwarding and value-added services such as packing and inspection.

The facility has already attracted interest from local and international businesses, including companies in Jebel Ali Free Zone.
