Wallenius Wilhelmsen opens new Brunswick terminal

Operated by Wallenius Wilhelmsen, the terminal includes an equipment processing centre (EPC) and vehicle processing centre (VPC). The company has secured a 20-year lease with the Georgia Ports Authority, with options extending up to 30 years, underscoring Wallenius Wilhelmsen’s long-term commitment to the American market.

“The Port of Brunswick’s size, scale and world-class facilities will position WW for success with new supply chain opportunities.”

The new facility will play a crucial role in handling increasing domestic and international volumes, with the investment in infrastructure enabling Wallenius Wilhelmsen to meet growing demand.

The terminal integrates a variety of services, including trucking through the company’s sister company KEEN, as well as EPC, VPC and ocean services, which together will improve connectivity and streamline the transport process.
