Dust suppression acquisition

The strategy behind the acquisition of TNJ Industries is the move to broaden Martin Engineering’s extensive line of dust control products and further its experience of dealing with fugitive material issues.

Mark Strebel, product support manager, Martin Engineering, said: “We now have an even larger toolbox to help us solve difficult dust management problems.”

He pointed out that the added capabilities in wet suppression and custom blended chemicals acquired from the acquisition will be invaluable in helping customers meet tightening dust regulations.

Martin Engineering also wants to move more towards designing new dust control solutions for customers.

Together, the two companies cover virtually every aspect of the dust control process from air control devices and suppression systems to energy efficient air cleaners that return fugitive dust to the material system.
