Kalmar industry firsts at TOC

Last December Kalmar introduced a fast charging solution for electric powered shuttle and straddle carriers. The solution is locally emission free, and it is based on the same opportunity charging technology that is used in electric buses with modern Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries. Representatives from Kalmar will be discussing this latest technology at the FastCharge launch event at the exhibition.

Also on show in the Equipment Display Area is the new Kalmar T2 terminal tractor, designed by Kalmar’s customers and built in Europe. It is safe to operate, has an ergonomically designed cabin, is easy to maintain and gives over 100 different driveline combinations to choose from.

The TOC Europe exhibition runs from 14-16 June.
