Phoenix invests for future growth

The innovative LED lighting manufacturer has a new global manager for ports and terminals, Ryan Hertel, who will oversee Phoenix’s port and terminal team in order to expand the company’s container and bulk handling portfolio worldwide.

“Phoenix brings an incredible level of experience in building durable, long-lasting fixtures for container handling equipment and can be trusted to continually innovate this field,” said Mr Hertel.

Mr Hertel was previously director of business development at Phoenix providing terminals with lighting solutions to achieve efficiency and sustainability goals. He spent considerable time educating terminals on the advantages of LED technology and establishing Phoenix as an industry leader in the field.

Phoenix has also taken on Thorsten Kuschel who will be responsible for port and lighting in the European market. He joins Phoenix from AP Moller Maersk where he was category manager for port equipment spare parts.
