Achilles and Procureship boost ESG

The collaboration aims to streamline supply chain assessment and purchasing for Procureship’s 100+ fleet owners and operators, including BW LNG, Angelicoussis Group, and Oldendorff Carriers.

“Procureship identified the need for an ESG module to complement our existing marketplace services and recognised the expertise we would gain through this partnership with Achilles,” said Grigoris Lamprou, co-founder and chief executive of Procureship.

“For our clients, the ability to easily access information on supplier sustainability practices reinforces trust across the supply chain.”

The Achilles Maritime Network offers a platform for shipowners and managers to reduce risks and improve supply chain visibility. Members of the network include BW LNG, Odfjell and Seapeak, among others.

Procureship users will be able to access Achilles services to assess their suppliers’ sustainability performance whilst suppliers within the Procureship network can showcase their Achilles scores.

These scores will be integrated into Procureship’s supplier profiles and search engine results, enabling maritime buyers to easily evaluate sustainability and make procurement decisions based on ESG practices.
