This strategic collaboration seeks to identify, nurture and invest in promising start-ups with the goal of developing minimum viable products that can be scaled commercially.

“This collaboration is a testament to our shared commitment to fostering technological advancements that will redefine logistics and supply chain management,” said Eddy Ng, group head of operations and sustainability, PSA International.

“Just as nodes in a network interconnect to enable seamless data exchange, PSA Ventures and NIDLP will serve as critical links bridging Singapore, Saudi Arabia and the rest of the world.”

The focus areas of this collaboration include port automation, the green energy transition and digital solutions to improve efficiency and sustainability.

To achieve these goals, the two will work together across three strategic areas: mutual market access and technology piloting; mutual knowledge transfer and mentorship; and cross-border co-investments.

Both parties will also explore opportunities for inter-governmental funding support to bolster long-term innovation.

“By combining our expertise, we aim to develop scalable, high-impact technologies that enhance operational efficiency and accelerate the green energy transition,” said Suliman Almazroua, chief executive, NIDLP.

“This partnership reaffirms Saudi Arabia’s position as an industrial powerhouse and a global logistic hub, in alignment with the Saudi Vision 2030.”
