ELME launches heavy-duty line
With more than 50 years of industry experience, ELME Spreader has introduced a new product line for mobile equipment, designed to expand operational capabilities in demanding lifting environments.
The new solution enables operators to lift heavier loads of up to 55 tonnes, handle containers of up to 45 feet, and operate in harsh environments without compromising long-term performance. ELME said the product line will be the first of its kind to enter series production, giving customers access to capabilities not previously available in a standardised platform.
Örjan Karlsson, vice president of ELME Spreader, said the new product line was a major step forward for the company. “By combining higher lifting capacity with exceptional endurance in demanding environments, we are giving our customers a solution that expands what is operationally possible,” he said.
“Being the first to bring this type of solution into series production is an important milestone, allowing customers to benefit from advanced capabilities in a reliable, scalable product.”
The product has been developed and will be manufactured in Sweden using ELME’s automated production facilities. The company said the combination of advanced manufacturing technology and engineering expertise will ensure reliability, quality and scalability for global markets.
The new product line will debut at the TOC Europe 2026 trade fair in Hamburg in May. Commercial availability is planned for September, with customer deliveries expected shortly afterwards.
