Wide-ranging Kalmar deals
Kalmar has confirmed a wide range of new deals and agreements.
- A three-year Kalmar Complete Care service agreement has been signed with Yilport Oslo Terminal Investments AS and continues a partnership that began in 2016 under Cargotec ownership. The new deal will see Kalmar take responsibility for all maintenance activities at Norway’s largest container port covering eight Kalmar E-One2 hybrid rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes, ship-to-shore (STS) cranes, and an extensive mobile equipment fleet including Kalmar reach stackers and forklifts.
- OSTP Finland has ordered five new Kalmar Medium Forklift Trucks, with a five-year Essential Care maintenance contract. Delivery is scheduled for Q3 and Q4 2026. OSTP is a leading manufacturer of stainless steel pipes, tubes and fittings in the Nordic region.
- The signing of a new 10-year strategic supply agreement with Patrick Terminals, reinforcing a partnership with the Australian container terminal operator that has been in place for more than two decades. A locally-based automation team from Kalmar will ensure ongoing support for current and future automation projects across the Patrick terminal network.
- A new range of DC charging solutions to complement the existing Kalmar portfolio of electric machines has been launched in partnership with global charger manufacturers, Kempower and SINEXCEL. Units include movable chargers, integrated station chargers and distributed charging systems, including the megawatt charging system implemented in Q1 2026 at DP World London Gateway in the UK.
