Putin confident over Ust-Luga
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin remains confident that the port of Ust-Luga should commence operations on time and deliver maximum efficiency.
This follows a meeting with the chairman of the Russian Bank of Development and Foreign Economic Activity.
Berth facilities are already in place, while three rail tracks are operational.
The bank has loaned the port development company $545m to develop basic infrastructure.
