Thamesport boosts STS cover

London Thamesport has ordered its eighth ship-to-shore gantry crane from ZPMC. Due to be delivered in April 2010, the ultra post-panamax crane has an outreach of 62.5 metres and can handle ships with containers stowed 22-wide on deck.
The system will allow Haina International Terminals to completely
automate terminal operations, increasing performance and efficiency and
decreasing costs by 20%, claims Zebra.
