This year''s new interactive programme, designed to promote participation, involvement and discussion, will feature four main topics.

Following the themes of the ESPO Green Guide – Exemplify, Enable, Engage, Encourage and Enforce - that was launched at the 2012 GreenPort Congress. Each session will start with two plenary keynote speeches; an overview and a state of play presentation and participants will then divide into three working groups which will involve all sectors of the port community: port authorities, port users (terminal operators, logistics companies, shippers, shipping lines etc) and suppliers of equipment and services to the port community. The findings of each group will then be presented by the group moderators to the rest of the audience in a plenary session.

This year’s programme will cover four main topics:

• Air quality management in Ports

• Waste and material management in port areas

• Environmental externalities and community relation management

• Environmental reporting and communication

The full conference programme will be released shortly.
