Fenders aid sustainable fuel

SEAOIL Philippines is using Trelleborg’s Super Cone (SCN1100) fenders to facilitate the berthing of varying sizes of tanker vessels at the SEAOIL Sta. Cruz Bulk Terminal in Sta Cruz, Davao Del Sur, Philippines. SEAOIL Philippines aims to double its retail network and import terminal storage capacity over the next five years to reach more underserved communities in the region.

SEAOIL Philippines has utilised Trelleborg’s Super Cone fenders for eight years. Suitable for use across a variety of cargo berths, oil and LNG facilities, as well as container berths, the fenders combine performance and efficiency. Boasting significant shear strength, the fenders are very stable at large compression angles due to their conical body shape while their overload stops make them highly resistant to over-compression.
