TheJapanese Bank for International Cooperation has reached an agreementwith Kenya Port Authority to provide the finance for a new containerterminal at the port of Mombasa. This will require investment of $240m.It will cover an area of 1m sq m and be able to handle 1.2m teuannually when it opens in 2018.
