Marseilles Fos seeks two bids
Marseilles Fos has released a tender for a proposed conventional cargo terminal to be developed on the site of the fruit terminal vacated by Agrexco. Preference will be given to bidders intending to use the existing facilities for handling fruit, vegetables and other food products.
Despite growth in container and liquefied natural gas volumes, first half throughput at the port fell 13% year on year, to 41.4m tonnes, but passenger numbers were boosted by a 17% rise in cruise traffic.
