The Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Programme’s main goal is to increase the number of small businesses working on port contracts.

Last year 60 small businesses worked on nearly US$20m port contracts, or 10% of the total. The goal for 2005 is to have 20% of the US$200m in projected port contracts go to small businesses.
