UKs northern ports promote safety

Launching a new initiative to improve port and harbour safety throughout the north of England, PD Teesport md David Robinson said: ” We are pleased to announce a threepronged attack to improve our record: more support for safety training and research into solutions; establishing a regular forum for all northern port operators to consider safety matters; and encouraging a more proactive approach from the (statal) Health and Safety Executive.
