Two new Dar es Salaam terminals
Tanzania Ports Authority plans to implement a $560m plan to build two new container terminals at the port of Dar es Salaam. These will add an additional 500,000 teu capacity to existing installations, which handled 460,000 teu in 2010. Construction is expected to take place by the end of next year.
