Varna seeks reconstruction proposals

The operator of the Port of Varna in Bulgaria has launched a $2.9m tender for infrastructure reconstruction at the port, Bulgaria’s Public Procurement Agency has said.

According to a notice on the Agency website, the Port of Varna EAD is planning to sign a framework deal with up to three possible contractors, with the agreement lasting three years.

Offers for the reconstruction of the Black Sea port, which runs services for passenger ships, cruise ships and scientific vessels, will be weighted 60:40 on lowest price against technical proposal.

Those interested can submit offers by September 14.
