Jettyless LNG system heads to Colombia

Norway-based ECOnnect Energy has secured a contract to supply its jettyless LNG transfer system for Puerto Bahía’s LNG import terminal in Cartagena Bay, Colombia.

The agreement with Sociedad Portuaria Puerto Bahía S.A., a majority-owned subsidiary of Frontera Energy Corp., will see ECOnnect Energy deliver its IQuay F-Class system as part of a fast-tracked LNG bunkering and import infrastructure project targeting first gas in early 2027.
