Morocco a sure bet for hydrogen development

Morocco’s ports are set to play a central role in accelerating the country’s green hydrogen economy, under new World Bank-backed recommendations targeting shipping, industry and exports.

A new World Bank report outlines how national policymakers and port authorities can jointly unlock an integrated green hydrogen value chain, positioning Moroccan ports as energy export hubs, industrial supply centres and future marine fuel bunkering nodes.
