Port of Barcelona launches H2 station tender

The Port of Barcelona has approved a public tender to choose the company that will design, build and operate the port’s first hydrogen refuelling station

Located on a 7,000 sqm site in the ZAL Port logistics hub, the new facility will supply hydrogen to trucks, buses and port machinery and will be the first of its kind in the Spanish port sector.

The station will produce green hydrogen on-site using electrolyzers powered entirely by renewable energy.
