Rotterdam supercharges shore power expansion

The City of Rotterdam and the Port of Rotterdam Authority have unveiled their updated Shore Power Strategy 2025 to 2035, which aims to accelerate port electrification across the city.

It’s an ambitious plan which outlines a decade-long roadmap to shore power, both meeting the regulation across Europe by 2030 and aiming for zero-emission berthing by 2050.
