Coastlink is a neutral pan-European network dedicated to the promotion of short sea and feeder shipping, and the intermodal transport networks through the ports that support the sector. Ulsan executes landmark ammonia bunkering
Ulsan Port Authority (UPA) has marked a major milestone in its journey towards expanded alternative fuel provision with the first ammonia port-to-ship bunkering operation for a commercial vessel.
The operation carried out at Pier 2 of Ulsan Main Port, saw Lotte Fine Chemical supply around 600 tonnes of clean ammonia from the quayside to a 45K-class ammonia dual-fuel gas carrier built by HD Hyundai Heavy Industries.
