Stevedoring agreement for Algeciras Bay

A new stevedoring agreement at Algeciras Bay port will bring stability, availability and social peace, according to the port authority.

Valid for the next 10 years, the new collective bargaining agreement deal directly affects 1,230 permanent stevedores.

Mr Moron, chair of the negotiations, pointed out that the signatory parties showed both responsibility and generosity, “something the port community must be proud of”.

Coordinadora, CCOO and UGT (trade unions), Anesco (APM Terminals), Apemar and MarApie (former Sestibalsa) all took part in the negotiations.
