World Cup spurs Brazilian port investment

Brazilian ports are to receive $449m for upgrades in time for the Fifa World Cup, a modest sum in comparison to investment being made in national airports.

Ports at Manaus, Fortaleza, Natal, Recife, Salvador, Rio de Janeiro and Santos will benefit, with the latter receiving $76m and $200m respectively.
