At GreenPort Congress, delegates will have the opportunity to take part in an interactive workshop exploring how ports can build trust, strengthen relationships and turn challenges into opportunities.
Facilitated by Elseline Journée, Assistant Director of the ECO Sustainable Logistics Chain Foundation (ECOSLC), and Herman Journée, Chairman of ECOSLC, the session focuses on practical approaches rather than theory. Using real-world examples, the workshop will examine why stakeholder engagement matters, the risks of poor communication, and the benefits of involving stakeholders in decision-making.
A key feature of the workshop is its interactive format. Participants will work together to identify the groups that influence port activities, discuss stakeholder-related risks and opportunities, and share experiences from their own organisations. This collaborative approach is designed to encourage peer learning and provide fresh perspectives on common challenges.
The session will also explore best practice for engaging with local communities, customers, regulators and other stakeholders, with delegates invited to exchange ideas and lessons learned from their own projects.
