Recognising – and then managing – the interests and expectations of varied port stakeholders will be the focus of an interactive workshop at next week’s GreenPort Congress, facilitated by the expertise of Elseline Journée.
The Assistant Director of the ECO Sustainable Logistics Chain Foundation (ECOSLC), an organization focused on promoting environmental sustainability and implementing eco-standards within port management and logistics chains, will offer guidance to attendees taking part in the workshop.
Journée will explore stakeholder engagement in a practical and fun way, with a 20-minute interactive group exercise at the heart of the event, and insights and experiences shared through a fictional case involving the Port of Improvement.
In outlining the workshop – Stakeholder Engagement: Turning Challenges into Opportunities – she said: “Expect an informal session with plenty of interaction, where everyone can contribute and hopefully leave with some new ideas to take back to their own organisation.”
The workshop is taking place in the afternoon of the opening day of GreenPort Congress, 7-9 October, at Portsmouth International Port.
