This officially verified, EU type-approved weighing system makes it possible to determine the weight of bulk materials fast and accurately during crane operation, dispensing with the need for separate load cells or belt weighers – some of which are difficult to integrate into processes such as ship to ship loading.
The biaxial measuring system enables accurate weight determination even where vibrations and movement is an issue. The supporting forces on the rope pulleys are measured by special load elements and sensors fitted to the boom tip and corrective algorithms takes these influences into account.
The new crane weighing system comes with a special weighing terminal, including a display and tamper-proof recording system, installed in the crane cab. The weighing data are shown on the display immediately and can be transmitted to printers or to processing systems to issue the weighing documents.
