In addition, the situation regarding the sale of the former Hanjin container terminal TTIA has not yet been entirely resolved.
The new 30.5ha box terminal forms part of the Phase B development of Isla Verde Exterior. It can be built as either a public facility or a private one as part of a 50-year concession. The initial quay will be 680 metres in length, with up to 130 metres of additional quay potentially available, too. Draft is 18.5 metres.
