Hosted by Port of Antwerp-Bruges the 17th GreenPort Congress & Cruise is confirmed to take place in Bruges on 18-20th October 2022.
Bruges, the capital of West Flanders in northwest Belgium, is distinguished by its canals, cobbled streets, and medieval buildings. Its port, newly named Antwerp-Bruges, is an important centre for fishing and European trade.
With an overall throughput of 289 million tons per year, Port of Antwerp-Bruges is an important hub in worldwide trade. Its central location, extensive connections with global markets and a large part of the European hinterland combined with an excellent infrastructure make the port with its two sites an attractive choice for anyone looking to do business.
This year’s programme spans over three days and focuses on the theme of ‘Green Solutions for Sustainable Ports by 2030’. The first day features parallel Cruise and Congress streams, followed by a second Congress day, which will address environmental and technical challenges affecting commercial ports and terminals.
