The provisional programme for GreenPort Congress & Cruise 2022 is out now! Hosted by the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, GreenPort Congress & Cruise will take place from 18-20 October in Bruges, Belgium.
This year’s programme entitled Green Solutions for Sustainable Ports by 2030 focusing on environmental aspects features a first day of parallel Congress and Cruise sessions on 18 October, followed by a second Congress day on 19 October, focussed exclusively on the issues affecting commercial ports and terminals.
This year the opening keynote address will be from Isabelle Ryckbost, Secretary General, European Sea Ports Organisation followed by Capt Sameer Bhatnagar, Sr Decarbonisation Integration Manager - Decarb Business Development & Innovation, A.P. Moller – Maersk discussing Decarbonization from a ship operator’s perspective.
A panel of experts including Valter Selén, Senior Policy Advisor Sustainable Development, Cruise and Ferry Network, EcoPorts Coordinator, Martin Kroger, CEO, VDR German Shipowner Association & Edvard Molitor, Head of Sustainability, Port of Gothenburg will be discussing the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation and FuelEU Maritime aspect of ports & shipping having to have shore power facilities installed by 2030. This discussion will highlight these legislations from both perspectives and viewpoints.
