Roberto Bruzzone, Senior Vice President of Marine Operations, Silversea will be speaking on day 1 of GreenPort Cruise, 18 October in Session 2: What’s next for the cruise industry – taking a look at the latest in sustainable cruise ships. Roberto will be presenting on ‘The Nova Way: Silversea Cruises’ pioneering journey into the future of sustainable cruising’.
Silversea’s Nova Class is an upcoming series of multi-hybrid ships that will place Silversea Cruises at the forefront of sustainable cruising for years to come. The ships will employ a number of unique and unprecedented sustainability features.
Roberto has extensive experience in the shipbuilding industry, having held various positions at major international cruise lines in a successful career that has spanned almost 20 years. A Chartered Naval Architect and Marine Engineer with a Master’s Degree in the field, as well as an Executive Master’s in Business Administration at the London Business School, Roberto has studied in America, Italy and London. He is a Member of both the Lloyds Register Technical Committee and the RINA Technical Committee.
